GCSE Results 2023

Congratulations to our 2023 Year 11 cohort on their GCSE results!  Almost three quarters of all grades were a higher pass at GCSE.  It is hugely satisfying to see so many of our students so happy with their results and they have thoroughly deserved their success, having worked exceptionally hard over the last two years. We wish them all the best for the future; whether they are returning to Oldfield Sixth Form or progressing to other settings.

There were many outstanding individual achievements across the cohort and 14 students achieved a clean sweep of Grade 7 to 9. Particular mention should go to Megan Tarling who achieved ten grade 9s, Amy Tarling with nine grade 9s and one grade 8, Ella Hamnett with eight grade 9s and two 8s, Lily Wyber with seven grade 9s and two 8s and Amin Othman with six grade 9s and four 8s.
