Admissions
As a successful school we take students from a wide area, with over 50 partner primary schools. If you are interested in a place at Oldfield, we can usually accommodate new students in most year groups, and our experienced pastoral staff would be pleased to advise you.
We welcome visits from parents and prospective students to see Oldfield School at work, throughout the year. In the first instance, please contact the headteacher at headteacher@oldfieldschool.com for further details or to arrange a visit.
Open Evening and Open Morning
Each year, we arrange an Open Evening and an Open Morning for parents and their children to see the school facilities, to meet the staff and students, and to see the school in action on a typical day. Our Open Evening and Open Morning are held during Term 1 each year.

Admissions Policy
We are required by law to have an admissions policy. Our criteria for admission were embodied in the school’s submission to the Secretary of State. These criteria were amended when the school gained Sports and later Arts specialist status.
