Oldfield School GCSE Results 2019

Oldfield school are once again very proud of students’ GCSE results with nearly three quarters of all students achieving five or more good pass grades. 12% of the year achieved higher grades (Grade 6 or above, or the equivalent to B-A*).

There are a number of outstanding individual performances, including Joey Williams, with eight Grade 9s and Ben Cook with six Grade 9s and Angeline Josy with nine Grade 9 and 8s. Equally impressive results were achieved by a large number of students across the ability range.

Headteacher Steven Mackay said “It has been a very enjoyable morning seeing so many of our students so happy with their GCSE results and they have thoroughly deserved their success, having worked exceptionally hard throughout Year 11. We are delighted that a very high number will be returning to Oldfield in September having achieved their entrance requirements to the Sixth Form.”
